I am reseaching all that I can find out about Nordatand. My ancestors, by name of Jurriens lost their life in the 1636 flood, but their daughter, Janetje survived. She then Married Van Husum or Huesen and came to America in 1638. I have found out that van Huesen was employed by the West India trading co.
Do you know of any record of those who died in the flood?
